The Cultch

The efforts of Productive Obsession in 2014 are mainly focused on our Current Obsession, The Damage Is Done. We have  completed a residency at The Cultch in Vancouver in May and in Banff in June, culminating with a very successful workshop production.

We are thrilled to be returning to the Vancouver East Cultural Centre (affectionately known by Vancouver residents as  as “The Cultch”) where we had our first ten-day creation residency in May 2014.

Rita and Ken both have a long history with The Cultch, particularly the Historic Theatre (pictured above). Rita has performed in dozens of dance productions over the years including her Jessie-nominated productions Bloodline and Trouser Parts. Ken was last a the Cultch a decade ago with One Yellow rabbit’s acclaimed production of Doing Leonard Cohen
